The Men's Room

“…Embrace the Dome.”

Evil3BALD IS IN!

Ok, let me start over. Have you ever had a conversation with someone that was losing their hair in the front and you couldn’t stop staring at that bald spot?  What about, immediately spotting a bad comb-over and wondering…”how did their barber cut that?”…well, maybe that one’s just me!

Anyway, I can understand the trauma associated with hair-loss.  I deal with the emotions of it almost on a daily basis with my clients.  But, you know, sometimes you just have to find a way to embrace the new you!

I have heard and witnessed quite a few success stories associated with hair re-growth. Products like Rogaine, Propecia and Avacor, all have happy customers.  However, many times in order to keep this “new hair” you must continue to use their products for the rest of your life.  And that my friend, not only gets expensive, but some of these products have very uncomfortable side effects.

So, save yourself the hassle.  Try a low buzz cut first, somewhere in the ball park of a metal – 1 to a 1 1/2  guard (your barber will know).  Keep in mind that the more hair you keep, the more attention you are putting on the balding area.

If you like this look, keep it.  Or, if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, shave it all off!

I had a client that was struggling with whether or not to keep or shave his remaining hair.  I finally convinced him to buzz it low, and he went for it.  Three days later, he ran into the shop telling me how great he felt, and that he wished he had done it sooner!  So, with that being said, give it a try.  Worst case scenario…you can always go back to that comb-over!

Thanks for endorsing the clean look Craig. I’ve gone .5 the last few years and been enjoying it. No problems with self confidence. My two teenage daughters say I look like a marine and the boys don’t want to mess with me.
