After I posted the new P.O.T.M on Wednesday, I quickly noticed a trend in conversations among readers and clients that surprised me. The feedback was that this soap (Kiehl’s Ultimate Man Body Scrub Soap) was a great addition to their shower regimens due to the fact that most of them do not use washcloths… at all?!? I was actually caught of guard, because I personally have never showered any other way. Of course, my immediate reason for using a washcloth is simple, I was taught at a young age that that’s how showering was done.
However, with greater understanding of grooming, I can now present a better case by saying this – “washcloths are essential in properly cleaning and exfoliating the body”. Whether it be cotton, nylon, or any other material, the bottom line is that it can get to more places the bar of soap can’t…
So let me be the first to say that I am even more excited that I chose this soap as a P.O.T.M., especially for the men in the “no washcloth” category. Just keep in mind that having a washcloth handy for those days when this soap isn’t around makes for overall better looking skin!
